1. Rubber products lack glue


The main reasons are:

It can be solved from these aspects:

2. The rubber edge of rubber products is too thick and the product is overweight


The main reasons are: the glue loading is too large; the plate pressure is insufficient; the mold does not have a corresponding residual glue groove.


It can be solved from these aspects: strictly control the semi-finished product unit consumption; increase the plate pressure; improve the mold design.


3. Rubber products curling, drawing and shrinking


The main reasons are: poor processing performance of rubber.


It can be solved from these aspects: use casting and injection production to reduce the Mooney viscosity of rubber.


4. Cracks in rubber products


The main reasons are: dirty rubber; too much isolation agent; scorched rubber.


It can be solved from these aspects: ensure the cleanliness of semi-finished products; use isolation agents reasonably; extend the scorch time.


5. Rubber product bubbles


The main reasons are: the material containing the gas of sulfide decomposition in the compounding agent is trapped during the process, and the air in the mold cavity is not completely exhausted; the mold has no exhaust line.


It can be solved from these aspects: repeatedly deflate before closing the mold, add exhaust lines to the mold; add calcium oxide to the formula


6. Rubber products tear when the mold is out of the mold


The main reasons are: too much or too little isolation agent; too fast mold opening, uneven force; poor fluidity of the rubber material, poor adhesion of the semi-finished product; unreasonable mold edges and chamfers.


It can be solved from these aspects: reasonable use of isolation agents, uniform force on the product when opening the mold, reduce the gate viscosity of the rubber material, and improve the mold design.


7. Rubber products are too rough


The main reasons are: rough mold surface; too short scorch time of the mixed rubber.


It can be solved from these aspects: cleaning the mold; extending the scorch time.
