Fluorosilicone rubber (FVMQ)

Fluorosilicone rubber has a similar structure to silicone rubber, with side chains of trifluoropropyl, methyl and vinyl. The mechanical and physical properties are similar to VMQ. However, FVMQ has improved fuel and mineral oil resistance, but is less heat resistant than standard VMQ.

Silicone rubber is like silica gel, with trifluoropropyl, methyl and ethylene as side chains. On the basis of the excellent properties of organic silicon materials such as heat resistance, cold resistance, high voltage resistance, and weather aging resistance, due to the introduction of fluorine-containing groups, it also has the excellent properties of organic fluorine materials such as resistance to hydrocarbon solvents, oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and lower surface energy.

Temperature range

-60℃ ~ +177℃ (TR10: -60℃). In dry environment, the high temperature can reach +232℃

Hardness range

Shaw A45 degrees to 80 degrees

Color

Yellow, blue, or customer specified colors

Application

Fluorosilicone rubber provides excellent low temperature flexibility and good resistance to fuel oil and aromatic mineral oil. It is usually used in environments where jet and automobile fuels, most solvents or engine oils come into contact, especially in the aerospace industry.
